The Prophecy of the Garou Apocalypse

Out of game note - this will be considered cannon, regardless of what actually got said in the last game session.

"According to the Garou wise-men and the visions granted to the earliest of our kind, just after the betrayal of Father Wolf, the end of days will be heralded by the fulfillment of the five prophecies.  Each prophecy has been passed down for many thousands of years, in many tongues and many interpretations.

The first of these prophecies tells of the appearance of a blood red star in the skies above the Umbra, or spirit-world.  This star will cut through the gauntlet between our world and the world of shadows and reveal itself.  The blood star will have an effect on all creatures who carry strength in their blood.  The Garou will no longer pass their gifts.  The servants of Set will no longer receive sustenance from mortal blood.

Once the borders between this world and the spirit world fail our elders tell of the return of the lost.  Sometimes, creatures far more alien than can be imagined, slip into our world through a great hedge maze.  Once through the hedge they steal mortals and make them servants in a land far away.  Legend tells many tales of babes taken in their sleep, of men replaced with crude copies who look, talk and act like men but are not.  Once the edges of our space begin to fail these lost will find a way back, bringing along with them the changes they've undergone and inviting incursions into our world.

The next prophecy tells of a lost tower somewhere beyond the borders of our reality.  This tower defines the edge of a vast nothingness and stands to guard our world from what lies beyond, in the unknown.  This tower will begin its collapse when the gauntlet falls, great portions of its ancient walls collapsing.  When it finally fails and crashes down the cliff face into the void it will herald a time of things unseen.  The dead will walk, things from the abyss will rise and those who have not ruled in power since before the dawn of memory will awaken to take what they believe is theirs.

The next prophecy tells of the black spiral.  Garou who have lost themselves to the rage in their blood follow the path known as the black spiral dance.  More Garou will succumb to the temptation to eschew their mortal forms for the form of rage and combat.  As they loose themselves upon creation they will create further chaos until all Garou burn out like a dying star.  Other creatures tell similar tales.  The servants of Set tell of the rise of the ancient ones whose hunger will be sated on the blood of lesser monsters.

The final prophecy is Apocalypse itself.  The destruction heralded by the end our our age, the twelfth age of Gaia.  The sun will be consumed by a great power who will weld the blood star as a weapon to erase all reality."
